GRE FAQ › GRE vs LSAT
Is the GRE harder than the SAT? / ACT? / MCAT? / LSAT?
The GRE covers similar content to the SAT but at a higher level, with harder vocabulary and more complex reading passages. It's generally considered less intensive than the MCAT (which tests extensive science knowledge) and tests different skills than the LSAT (formal logic vs. math and vocab). Compared to the ACT, the GRE is harder across the board. Each test is difficult in its own way.
