Do university name brands matter for GRE scores?

Schools don't adjust their GRE standards based on where you went to undergrad. Your score is evaluated the same way regardless. That said, a strong GRE from a less well-known school can help demonstrate your academic ability, while a weak score from a prestigious university won't get a pass.
