Do rankings incorporate GRE data?

Some do. The U.S. News full-time MBA ranking still counts admitted students' median GMAT or GRE scores (13% of the 2026 ranking), but its engineering ranking dropped GRE scores in 2023, and many other rankings don't use them. Where scores do count, programs have a reason to admit students with strong scores, which is one reason your GRE score can matter even at programs that describe their admissions as holistic.
