GRE FAQ › Practice Tests & Materials
Do practice tests drive the score up by themselves?
No. Practice tests identify your weaknesses, but the study you do between tests is what actually drives the score up. The cycle works like this: take a test, review it thoroughly, study your weak areas, then test again to check your progress. Taking test after test without that middle step is one of the most common and least effective study approaches.
