GRE FAQ › Practice Tests & Materials
Are third-party (Kaplan, Magoosh, Princeton Review, Manhattan) practice tests accurate?
Most third-party practice tests don't accurately replicate the real GRE's difficulty, question style, or adaptive scoring behavior. Don't rely on them for score predictions. They can be useful for extra practice volume when you've exhausted official materials, but always calibrate your expectations against official ETS PowerPrep scores.
